The mission of CASA Nashville is to advocate for hope, healing, and permanency for abused and neglected children in juvenile court by providing trained volunteer advocates in the Nashville community. CASA's volunteer advocates come from diverse backgrounds with unique experiences, but the one thing they all have in common is a desire for the children we serve to have a safe home. Because of the unique role of CASA Advocates, and the time demands on the position, they are aware that Young Professionals aren’t always able to have the flexibility in their careers needed to pursue advocacy in the formal role.
CASA YP exists to create a community of young professionals who serve children, learn the system, and engage the city of Nashville through quarterly events that serve the mission of CASA Nashville. From a back to school drive, to informational trainings and happy hours, to book drives and providing Christmas gifts for children, there are numerous opportunities for you, your friends, and your company to make an impact on the lives of children! They are looking to build a dynamic group of young professionals who educate, serve, and recruit in support of the mission of CASA Nashville. If this is you, or you’d love to hear more, please do not hesitate to reach out to Adam Buzard at email@example.com!
