Join us for String City: Nashville’s Tradition of Music and Puppetry with guests Old Crow Medicine Show for a special performance benefiting Nashville Public Library.

String City with special guests Old Crow Medicine Show is a one-night only performance to support Nashville Public Library.

Taking place at the beautiful downtown main library, guests will enjoy food and drinks, and live music from The Barefoot Movement in the Robinson Family Courtyard starting a 6 p.m., before moving into the library for the String City performance and special set by Old Crow Medicine Show from 8 - 10 p.m.

String City: Nashville’s Tradition of Music and Puppetry is a lively telling of the history of country music as it relates to Nashville’s transformation into Music City. Using rod puppetry, shadow animation and an ever-changing set, NPL’s Wishing Chair Productions honor country music’s legendary artists and songs ranging from the Staple Singers to Johnny Cash to Taylor Swift, and its newest addition, Old Crow Medicine Show. The group is performing in celebration of their induction into String City and in support of Nashville Public Library.
