Conexión Next is an emerging leaders network that supports the work of Conexión Américas, a non-profit organization whose mission is to build a welcoming community and create opportunities where Latino families can belong, contribute and succeed.
Part of Conexión Next’s commitment to the Young Professional community is to create an inclusive and diverse membership that educates its members with Nashville’s most pressing issues. The Germantown and Jefferson Neighborhood Tour is design to showcase both the challenges and opportunities of one of Nashville’s most controversial issues, gentrification.
Through the tour, members and guest will have an opportunity to hear from speakers that represent the civic and business community. The tour will also include historical landmarks of each neighborhood. The desired outcomes of the tour are to increase awareness regarding gentrification, present an array of opinions and encourage constructive discussion among members and guests.
The tour will end at Henrietta Red in Germantown on a private patio with appetizers and happy hour specials.
