About Us

While the presidents of all YP Nashville member organizations meet twice each year, a volunteer chair spends a great deal of time working to support the efforts of YP Nashville.  Our YP Nashville chair and past chairs are an integral part of our YP Nashville team, and we appreciate all they do!

Meredith McKay is a "boomerang" Nashville native, meaning she was born in Nashville, moved away for a while, but eventually found her way back home. After growing up in North Carolina and Connecticut, she decided it was time to get back to Nashville where she attended Belmont University and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree as a music business major and was a member of the Alpha Sigma Tau sorority. Meredith has traveled to 23 countries across 5 continents, loves trying new recipes and is the former captain of a trampoline dodgeball team. She also loves meeting new people, social media marketing and proofreading everything in sight. She is a member of the Nashville Children's Alliance YP Board and YP Friends of Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital.

As the manager of talent attraction and retention for the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, Meredith’s key role is to manage the day-to-day happenings of YP Nashville, a partnership between the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and more than 50 young professional organizations working to engage, connect and empower young professionals to actively shape the future of the Nashville region. She also connects job seekers with helpful resources and manages NashvilleJobsLink.com, the Chamber's nationally marketed job board.
