AIA MiddleTN Emerging Professionals is an organization for young architects, defined as those not yet licensed (interns) and those licensed 10 years or less. We gather to discuss common goals, problems, experiences and thoughts about their careers, profession, and, of course, design. In the process we hold seminars, community outreach programs, social events, construction tours, a variety of local and regional field trips along with interaction with the AIA (American Institute of Architects) chapters to keep the membership informed about the needs and interests of young architects. Through knowledge, resources, and community, the AIA Emerging Professionals of Middle TN encourages professional growth, leadership, development, and serves as a collective voice for young architects.
