Nashville has been named one of the top 10 U.S. cities for college grads by Livability.com.
The website looked at employment opportunities, salaries, population age and night life in choosing its top 10.
“(T)here’s far more to Music City than its famous saloons, honky tonks and neon signs,” writes Livability. “Nashville offers plenty of opportunities to recent college grads, including jobs and fun. Led by a healthcare industry with more than 250 companies in the vicinity, Nashville also ranks high in sales and business/finance and features an emerging technology scene.”
Livability’s top 10 include:

- Lincoln, Neb.
- San Antonio, Texas
- San Jose, Calif.
- Kansas City, Mo.
- Fort Worth, Texas
- Charlotte, N.C.
- Knoxville, Tennessee
- Tucson, Ariz.
- Provo, Utah
