Event: SEC Football Kickoff Party
Description: Join us in the Gulch from 5 to 9 p.m. for Southeastern Young Alumni's second annual SEC Football Kickoff Party, presented by Nashville Sports Leagues and benefiting the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. Participants will receive a complimentary drink from Buffalo Trace Bourbon and Sweetwater Brewing Company. Event: Art and Opera: From Monarchy to Modernity
Description: Art and opera will collide at the Frist Center at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 23! Art and Opera: From Monarch to Modernity will explore how the French Revolution altered the social and political landscape of France during the late 18th century, paving the way for the Impressionists of the 19th century. Enjoy an evening of performances from the impressive roster of high-caliber international artists in Nashville Opera's upcoming production of Andrea Chénier and a sneak preview of the Frist Center's Birth of Impressionism: Masterpieces from Musée d'Orsay exhibition.
