Organization: Belmont Young Alumni Council
Event: Chihuly at Cheekwood for BU Alumni
Description: Cheekwood is offering a special rate for Belmont alumni to experience their beautiful grounds this summer. The Chihuly installations are brilliantly illuminated for a unique and stunning nighttime art experience. Reservations required by Wednesday, July 28. Click here for more information.

Event: Star Party at Edwin Warner Park
Description: Get "starstruck!" Enjoy the night sky and some stargazing with fellow Belmont alumni, and meet Janet from Janet's Planet. This series of free "star parties" is sponsored by the Adventure Science Center and the Barnard-Seyfert Astronomical Society. Please RSVP in advance to receive directions, maps and supplies. Event: Music City BBQ Festival Swine Ball
Description: Music City BBQ Festival kickoff event, benefiting the American Cancer Society. Tickets inlcude a one-day BBQ Festival pass. To purchase tickets, and for more information, click here.

Organization: American Cancer Society Junior Board
Event: Music City BBQ Festival
Description: Located at Riverfront Park, the festival will be visited by an estimated crowd of over 25,000. A volunteer team of more than 400 people organizes this festival, and we donate portions of the proceeds to the Shriners Children's Hospitals, the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hosptial at Vanderbilt and the American Cancer Society's Hope Lodge and Camp Horizon. Saturday will include events at the Grand Ol' Porker Arena, including a "People's Choice Award," where you can sample the teams' fare, a Viking Cooking demonstration and a mini-brewfest.
