Topic: Giving and Receiving Feedback
Do you find yourself holding back because you don't want to rock the boat? Or do you find yourself at a loss for words when trying to let someone know that something isn't what you expected? Sometimes feedback is good and sometimes it is bad, but it is critical to your professional development. This workshop will present tips on learning how to give and receive feedback to allow you to go further in the journey to reaching your potential.
Session Leader: Deb Palmer George
Debra Palmer George has over 25 years of experience in the business sector and in volunteer community service. Debra founded her practice, Palmer Solutions, as a consultant and facilitator in the for-profit and nonprofit sectors. Her practice is dedicated to the research, development and implementation of practical, sustainable approaches to achieving meaningful, measurable results. In her work with a wide range of organizations, she seeks to facilitate discovery of the best of “what is” and “what is hoped for” as the basis for making effective individual and organizational choices. She is also a Trainer and Consultant for the Center for Nonprofit Management.
